Ian Stewart Live

We live for live preforming, we have worked hard to create a set with Ableton Live, creating all the scenes that are controlled by a foot pedal, allowing them to seamlessly fit  together so we can dynamically control the “band”.  One good thing they never complain, but we can tell you the right ‘cat’s’ can shred on this machine every time! That said, at least we can tour, share our music and make more friends!

Musician Producer Engineer & Entrepreneur

Our Ian Stewart is the protégé of infamous Jazz guitarist Herb Ellis, understudying guitar for many years with Herb at the Hollywood Palladium tapings of the Merv Griffin Show. He has played guitar with many famous musicians and musical groups such as: Dennis Dragon (Surf Punks, Beach Boys, Byrds, Rick Springfield, Captain and Tennille), PapaNata, The Press, Madhatter and more.

With Dragon, Ian created Locals Only Music Television, which aired on KCPQ (Settle), XETV San Diego, KTVU San Fransisco, playing a pivotal role in the upcoming careers of diverse bands such as Mother Hips, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Ataris and many more. Ian has written and recorded the music for Surf Movies like Amazing Surf Stories (Title Track), Adventures in Paradise,  Blazing Boards and many more.

As an engineer Ian has mixed or recorded “Monterey Pop” featuring Jimmy Hendrix, The Who, Janus Joplin and also recorded Toad the Wet Sprocket and many other gold and platinum projects.

As a producer Ian produced Chris Squire and Billy Sherwood (from “Yes”) in “Conspiracy Live” (see video)
